'An Evening of Blues' with two of Scotland's best Blues guitarists

 

Sandy Tweeddale is well known in Scotland for his performances in the band Blues 'n Trouble.

Neil Warden's blues credentials are also well documented over his 40-year career, especially in the past as the guitarist with Scottish blues legend Tam Whitei.

He has been playing/recording guitar for over 45 years and has performed with notable artists such as Tam White, Boz Burrell, Peter Straker, Camille O'Sullivan, Maggie Bell, Brian Kellock, John Burgess, Lorna Reid Quintet, Dave Heath, Aqua Bassino, and more.

He recently released a 4-track EP of solo Weissenborn lap steel compositions called Canalslide Blues.

Our Venue

In the intimate atmosphere of the Prestonfield Golf Club function room where all guests get a comfortable seat, you get stunning views of 'Arthurs Seat' and the surrounding landscape. With our very welcoming bar staff, visitors to the club will find drinks prices at a reasonable level.                                               Doors open at 18.30 on club nights with the support band commencing around 19.30.                                                         The main artiste usually commences around 20.45 and last orders at the bar are at 22.00
