The First Thursday Blues Club are extremely pleased to have Wee Sara & The Texans as our guests onThursday, 9th January 2025.
Wee Sara and the Texans are an energetic saloon band who pack one hell of a show.
With a roots blend of Country, Blues, Swing, Americanna and Gospel, they have been going down a storm in numerous venues and festivals across Scotland.
With rip roaring vocals, soaring sax, swing guitar and a rhythm section to get you on the dance floor, this band whip up a whirl wind of a show.
Expect a showdown folks!

Our Venue
In the intimate atmosphere of the Prestonfield Golf Club function room, all guests get a comfortable seat and stunning views of 'Arthurs Seat' and the surrounding landscape. With an entry fee of only £5 for top class Blues entertainment, you also get free "off street" parking in our car park and visitors to the club will find our drinks prices at a very reasonable level. Doors open at 18.30 on club nights with the support band commencing around 19.30. The main artiste usually commences around 20.45 and last orders at the bar are at 22.00
